In 2007, a group of visionary first-generation lawyers, M. Mohan Kumar, Santosh .H and Anand R.V, embarked on a remarkable journey. As alumni of Bangalore University Law College’s (ULC) Batch of 2002 (1997-2002), they shared not only a classroom but a common dream that forged during the formative years at ULC.
Despite the challenges that came with being trailblazers in their families, these three friends dared to dream big. They pooled their aspirations, expertise, and unyielding determination to create a law firm that would redefine traditional legal practice. With a shared commitment to offering affordable yet top-notch legal services, Lawman & Associates was born. Their bold venture wasn't just about setting up a law firm, it was about creating a legacy.

As the Founder and Managing Partner of the firm, Mohan Kumar brings over 22 years of experience to his leadership role, playing a pivotal part in shaping the firm's operations and vision. His expertise spans in various matter of litigation before the Karnataka High Court, Arbitration, District and Session Court involving various kind of civil, property, family, Commercial disputes, Real Estate Regulatory Authority/RERA matters and others.

As the Co-Founder and Partner of the firm, Santosh brings over 22 years of invaluable experience to his role, expertly steering all civil litigation matters. His broad expertise covers Civil, Criminal matters, Consumer Disputed, Real Estate Laws, Documentation and Registration Services and representation before Civil/Criminal Courts and Quasi-Judicial forums/authorities. He has also has been instrumental in aiding real estate developers.

With over 22 years of experience, Anand plays a pivotal role in managing all criminal matters for the firm. His extensive knowledge and skill in criminal law have earned him a stellar reputation. Anand represents clients in Criminal Courts and the Karnataka High Court with remarkable proficiency. His appointment as Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) in certain cases stands as a testament to his expertise in criminal trials and matters.

Joining the firm in 2024, ShivaKumar Mallegowda brought with him over 22 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel. His tenure in the Telecommunications and Electronic Goods industries endowed him with broad expertise in areas such as Contract Management, Consumer Litigations, Real Estate, Commercial Disputes, Regulatory & Statutory Compliances, Labour & Employment Laws, and setting up Business Processes.

With over 22 years of experience, Rama has been a key team member since the firm’s inception.
